Summer outfit favorites

Hi all!

Soooo, I haven't really blogged this summer, as I've been super busy with my PhD thesis. No holidays for me, sigh. Also, I injured my ankle and it kind of took the joy out of putting together outifts for a while...

However, I've been more active on YouTube and Instagram, so you should definitely check those out! Speaking of Instagram, I thought I would share some of my favorite outfits I've posted this summer here on the blog, since I know that a) not everyone is on Instagram, and b) the IG algorithm is annoying, so you haven't necessarily seen these even if you do follow me there. 

So, here's what I've been wearing!

I originally bought this rose gold dress from a River Island store in Amsterdam if February, and FINALLY had a chance to wear it at a girls' night in July. I'm obsessed with rose gold and wrap dresses, so this is definitely one of my favorites.

This midi dress is from ASOS and it's by the brand Fashionkilla. I adore the barbie pink color and the buckle details on the straps! This dress kind of sucks you in, so no shapewear needed. It's still really comfortable though! I will leave a link here as it appears to still be available.

Speaking of comfort, this Rosegal maxi dress is the BEST. I've already worn it multiple times this summer. So cute, yet so comfy! AND it has pockets. It's currently out of stock, but Rosegal have definitely stepped up their game, so I recommend you check them out. I will do another haul for them soon on my YT channel (this dress was gifted to me by Rosegal).

I've been really into yellow this summer, don't know why. I used to hate yellow clothes, but now I gravitate towards them, especially during the warm months. This one is old and from Forever21.

I do occasionally wear something other than dresses! Fashion Nova still has the best jeans for plus-size girls in my opinion. And this crop top if super soft. 

Finally, we've had some very hot days here in Finland this summer, so a bikini is a must! This one from Rosegal (gifted) is very cute and vintage-inspired, but luckily you can find great plus-size bikinis almost anywhere these days.
